Speed-O-Meter Pro
Overview
Speed-O-Meter Pro ("the App") is a speedometer application for iPhone and Apple Watch, developed and maintained by an independent individual developer ("the developer," "we," "us," or "our"). This document serves as both the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for the App. By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth herein.
Data Collection
We do not directly collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data through the App. Specifically:
- No account or registration is required to use the App
- No personal information is collected by us
- No usage data or analytics are gathered by us
- No data is sent to servers owned or operated by us
However, the App includes the Google AdMob SDK for displaying advertisements. The AdMob SDK may automatically collect certain device information, including your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, and general interaction data, in order to serve and measure ads. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. For details on what Google collects and how it is used, please see Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data disclosure guidance.
Location Data
The App accesses your device's GPS and location services solely to calculate and display your current speed in real time. We do not store, log, or transmit your location data. However, Apple's operating system and platform services may independently access or process location data on your device, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, Apple's data practices.
Apple Watch
The Apple Watch companion app accesses location data in the same manner as described above — solely in real time to display speed. We do not store, log, or transmit any data from the Apple Watch app. Apple's platform services on watchOS may handle data independently, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple WeatherKit, an SDK provided by Apple Inc., to display weather information. This integration involves network communication with Apple's servers and is governed exclusively by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive, access, or store any personal data through this integration. We have no control over Apple's data collection practices and are not responsible for them.
The App uses the Google AdMob SDK (Google Mobile Ads) to display advertisements. A small banner ad appears in the Settings screen, and a brief full-screen interstitial ad may be shown after you complete a trip. Ads never appear on the main speedometer screen, and for safety, no full-screen ads are ever displayed while you are in motion. The AdMob SDK may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data. This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive, access, or store any personal data through this integration.
Informational Use & Safety Disclaimer
The App is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Speed readings displayed by the App are derived from GPS data and may not be accurate under all conditions, including but not limited to poor GPS signal, device limitations, environmental interference, or software errors. The App is not intended to be used as a substitute for your vehicle's speedometer or any certified speed measurement device.
Do not rely on this App for safety-critical decisions. The developer is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, property damage, traffic violations, or other harm arising from the use of or reliance on the App's speed readings or any other information it displays.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Accuracy or reliability of speed, location, or weather data
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions
Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.
The developer is not responsible for the data practices of Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any other platform-level or third-party service. Any data collected by Apple or Google through their respective SDKs, services, or frameworks is solely subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
As the developer is based in California, this section addresses rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not directly collect, sell, or share any personal information. However, the Google AdMob SDK integrated into the App may collect certain device identifiers and ad interaction data as described in the "Third-Party Services" section above. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. You may opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's ad tracking settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) or by visiting Google's Ad Settings. Should our data practices change beyond what is described here, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not directly collect any data. The Google AdMob SDK may serve non-personalized ads; however, we do not knowingly target or collect information from children. If you believe a child has somehow submitted personal information through the App, please contact us.
Errors and Omissions
While we strive to ensure the App functions correctly, we make no guarantee that all information displayed is accurate, complete, or current. GPS accuracy, weather data, and other outputs depend on third-party systems and environmental factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information that is inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from your use of the App, we encourage you to contact us first through our support page so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be resolved in the Small Claims Court of Tuolumne County, California, to the extent the claim falls within its jurisdictional limits. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such court for this purpose.
Governing Law
This document is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes exceeding small claims jurisdiction shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tuolumne County, California.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this document at any time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

VitaVitals
Overview
VitaVitals ("the App") is a senior-friendly health dashboard for iPhone, developed and maintained by an independent individual developer ("the developer," "we," "us," or "our"). The App displays health metrics such as heart rate, sleep, steps, distance, blood oxygen, and ECG data sourced from Apple HealthKit, and provides a local medication tracker with reminder notifications. This document serves as both the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for VitaVitals. By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth herein.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- No account or registration is required to use the App
- No personal information is collected by us
- No usage data or analytics are gathered by us
- No data is sent to servers owned or operated by us
- All data entered into or read by the App remains entirely on your device
Health Data (HealthKit)
The App reads health data — including heart rate, sleep analysis, step count, walking distance, blood oxygen saturation, and ECG records — from Apple HealthKit. This data is accessed solely to display it to you on-screen in real time. We do not store, log, or transmit any HealthKit data. All access is read-only and governed by the permissions you grant through iOS. Apple's own data practices regarding HealthKit are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy; we have no control over and assume no responsibility for them.
Medication & Personal Information
Medication names, dosages, schedules, and logs entered by the user are stored exclusively on the device using on-device storage. Emergency contact and doctor information optionally entered in Settings is likewise stored locally only. None of this information is transmitted to us or any third party. It is never backed up to our servers. iCloud backup behavior (if enabled by the user) is governed solely by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Notifications
The App uses Apple's local notification system to deliver medication reminders. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification content or schedule data is transmitted to external servers. We do not use push notification services.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or crash-reporting services. All platform-level services used (HealthKit, local notifications, on-device storage) are provided by Apple Inc. and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Health Disclaimer
VitaVitals is provided for informational purposes only and is not a medical device. Health data displayed by the App is sourced from Apple HealthKit and reflects readings from your connected Apple devices. The accuracy of this data depends on the underlying sensors and Apple's frameworks, which are beyond our control. Do not use this App to diagnose, treat, or make medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice. The developer is not responsible for any harm arising from reliance on information displayed by the App.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to accuracy of health data, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and compatibility with all devices or iOS versions. Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to missed medications, health-related decisions, personal injury, or loss of data. The developer is not responsible for the data practices of Apple Inc. or any other platform-level service.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Because the App does not collect, sell, share, or disclose any personal information, there is no personal data to access, delete, or opt out of. California residents therefore have no actionable CCPA requests to make regarding this App. Should this change in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13, in compliance with COPPA. As we collect no data, no parental consent mechanism is required.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this document at any time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

FileStasher
Overview
FileStasher ("the App") is a private, on-device encrypted file vault for iPhone, developed and maintained by an independent individual developer ("the developer," "we," "us," or "our"). The App stores user-supplied files locally with AES-256-GCM encryption and optionally backs up that encrypted data to the user's own iCloud account. This document serves as both the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for FileStasher. By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth herein.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- No account or registration is required to use the App
- No personal information is collected by us
- No usage data, analytics, or telemetry are gathered by us
- No data is sent to servers owned or operated by us
- All files added to the vault remain encrypted on your device
Encryption & On-Device Storage
Files added to the vault are protected with strong, industry-standard encryption using Apple's cryptographic frameworks. Your passcode never leaves your device. We have no access to your files, your passcode, or the means to decrypt your data.
Dual Vault & Duress Mode
FileStasher supports an optional duress vault — a separate vault protected by its own passcode — to provide plausible deniability if you are pressured to unlock the App. Both vaults are stored on-device with the same encryption guarantees. The duress vault is a privacy feature for the user; we do not have visibility into either vault.
iCloud Backup (Optional, Premium)
If you enable the optional iCloud backup feature, your encrypted vault snapshots are uploaded to your own iCloud account. Files are encrypted on your device before any data is uploaded. Apple cannot read the contents of these backups, and neither can we. Apple's iCloud privacy practices apply to the encrypted data stored in your iCloud container. iCloud backup is off by default and can be disabled at any time in Settings.
Two-Factor Authentication (Optional, Premium)
If you enable two-factor authentication, all related secrets and backup codes are generated and stored on your device. Nothing is transmitted to us or any third party.
Share Extension
The FileStasher Share Extension accepts files passed to it by other apps via the iOS share sheet. Imported files are immediately encrypted on your device and added to your vault. The Share Extension does not transmit any data over the network.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or crash-reporting services. All platform-level services used (encryption, biometric authentication, PDF rendering, optional iCloud backup) are provided by Apple Inc. and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
In-App Purchases
FileStasher offers an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("FileStasher Premium") that unlocks Duress Mode, Two-Factor Authentication, and iCloud Encrypted Backup. All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information; we receive only a transaction receipt to validate purchase status on your device.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and compatibility with all devices or iOS versions. While the App uses strong, industry-standard encryption, no encryption system is invulnerable. The App has not undergone a formal third-party security audit. Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
Data Loss & Forgotten Passcodes
If you forget your vault passcode, your files cannot be recovered. The App is designed so that neither the developer nor Apple can reset, bypass, or recover a forgotten passcode. We strongly recommend you store your passcode in a secure password manager and, if you use two-factor authentication, save your backup codes in a safe location. The developer is not liable for any data loss resulting from a forgotten passcode, device loss, hardware failure, or backup misconfiguration.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to loss of files, loss of data, missed access, or any consequence resulting from a forgotten passcode or device loss. The developer is not responsible for the data practices of Apple Inc. or any other platform-level service.
Lawful Use
FileStasher is provided for legitimate privacy and personal data protection purposes. The duress vault is a privacy tool intended to protect users from coercion, not a mechanism to obstruct lawful authority. Users are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws regarding encryption, data privacy, and the disclosure of information under lawful authority in their jurisdiction. The developer assumes no responsibility for unlawful use of the App.
